The Real Artificial Bird With Gear Mechanism

This is the real artificial bird with gear mechanism. the material that is used in this toys are:

1. wood

2. triplex

3. straw

4. nuts and bolts

5. hard paper

this actually quite disproportionate, because the gear are smaller than the body of the bird. but it still works anyway.

the advantages of this toys:

- it uses simple material

- it uses gear mechanism

- it doesn't need any power supply because it doesn't use any motor

- it's unique, because there is no toys like this in the market

the disadvantages of this toys:

-the straw is not stable enough, so that it needs help from user to prevent the collapse of the straw

-because the gears are smaller than the body of the bird, so it's quite hard and heavy to spin the lever.

The Prototype of Artificial Bird using Gear Mechanism

This is the prototype of artificial bird using gear mechanism.
The wings of this bird can be flapped while the body of this bird can move up and down.
This prototype uses simple materials, just like hard paper, wire, straw, bolts and nuts.
